"Art of Crossing the Street" goes on a mural tour

The class I teach at the School of the Art Institute, "The Art of Crossing the Street - the Artist as Citizen" got on an old-fashioned yellow school bus to visit several neighborhoods to view a number of well-known community murals. The tour was led by artist and educator, Kiela Smith, a member of the Chicago Public Art Group. We visited sites in Bridgeport, Bronzeville and Navy Pier.
