Hi Tom,

I've been involved in creativity and innovation for more than 30 years, as an advertising manager at Montgomery Ward, and as the leader of a volunteer-based tutor/mentor program connecting inner city kids and workplace volunteers.

I believe that creativity and innovation are 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration. That means that the more you learn about how others solve a problem, and the longer you spend thinking about how to solve the problem, the more likely you'll be inspired with a creative way of solving the problem. In a section of the Tutor/Mentor Connection web site I have links to many other sites that talk about creativity, innovation, knowledge management, etc. http://tinyurl.com/yrkls8

I encourage you to add your own link, and to do workshops at the Tutor/Mentor Leadership and Networking conference to help tutor/mentor leaders, and supporters, unlock the creativity within each organization so we can help tutor/mentor programs grow all over the city. Email me at tutormentor 2 at earthlink.net if you'd like to participate.
